[He knows he could just go camp out in the forest. But while March's days are getting progressively warmer, the nights were still pretty chilly. While he hates to impose on people, he figured it couldn't hurt to ask at least. He's starting with folks he knows.

Thus he's calling up Luke. He hopes he won't catch him at a bad time.]

[Adele hasn't seen much of any of the Jedi, or if she has, it was brief. Too brief for her to get a feel for the situation, and she has become concerned. There was no shouting, no signs of conflict in the village that spoke of an enraged Jedi, nor did she fear such but...She was worried for Ben, and worried for Luke. Ben she's spoken to, and not much was resolved.]

Luke; a moment? If you have one to spare.

[Luke has been a little preoccupied dealing with Anakin and New Feathers, as well as stalking around the woods looking for whatever had killed that deer]

Of course, Adele, I'm never to busy for you. Is something the matter?

[Even if the memories were just another sweet lie, leaving him open to continue his life as it were before, he couldn't shake the sentiments that Goldie--no, Adele-- had given to him during their encounters over the last week. "You can keep him grounded," and the unspoken request that he continue doing so for as long as he could, kept rattling about in his mind. It was another relic from the Commander, like the tokens and mementos, the lingering emotions.

Distraction. It would help. If he recalled correctly, there was something that Luke wanted to learn from knowledgable residents within the enclosure. Finding the appropriate goods wasn't a hard task, and he discreetely left the more noticeable ones beyond the door as he entered.

Looking more himself, with his suit (sans jacket) replaced by outdoors clothing and a pair of retro looking sunglasses perched on his head, he appears surprisingly calm.]

Hey, Red? Got a minute?

[Luke had been expecting this. Once Adele, Obi-Wan and Lupin had escaped the Shifts influence, he'd figured there would be much to talk about. It didn't appear as though Luke himself had been altered too much, which meant he was going to get to play the straight man.

The real question was, just how much did the thief remember? His admission of caring for Ami? The darkness that had once consumed him?

Worries faded when he saw Lupin's attire however. He looked a bit silly]

I do. What in the stars name are you wearing, Lupin?

[There's a note taped up to the window, with no flourish and no extras. It's written in a neat hand, but it gives little indication of who the owner is otherwise.]

Luke--

I'll be gone on a boat for a Mission over the next few days. I should be back by the weekend, if everything goes well.

Anakin will be there too; I'll keep an eye on him, and try to keep him straight if he starts to waver. I think I know what to do now.

[Luke sighs and gets a sad look on his face]

A few days before I was born, a Sith Lord who had risen to the highest seat of government power while hiding his identity managed to have the majority of the Jedi killed. He turned the entire Republic military on them in a sweeping purge known as Order 66. A few Jedi hid, escaped, or managed to outfight their assassins. My sister and I were hidden, and...in time managed to defeat this Sith and begin rebuilding the Jedi Order.

[After her rather impressive blunder earlier, Adele's prepared herself for a full, detailed conversation on the matter at hand. She's dressed comfortably, has a thermos of tea, a familiar bottle of apple brandy, and a pair of glasses to share both in a satchel. She is also entirely unarmed. Not a secreted knife, pick, or blade on her person.

Not for this.

She's to display trust, and what better way than to come without anything hidden?

With no real idea how long it will be until Luke arrives she loiters by the teleporter, going over her thought processes this morning. Trying to find whatever part of her that said 'yes, ask him this!' with the intent of murdering it.]

[Adele doesn't have long to wait at all, Luke arrives mere moments after her, wearing comfortable Tatooinian clothes instead of his traditional robe. He's carrying with him a small satchel with a few light snacks from the bakery. Unlike Adele, however, he has two lightsabers clipped to his belt. One is his own, which she may be familiar with, the other a birthday present from Anakin: Darth Vader's. He won't be going ANYWHERE without them anytime soon, thanks to the enemy threat that looms over the village]

[Obi-Wan returns to the apartment, his face rather pointedly neutral.]

[He offers a worried glance]

[Waiting by the Battle Dome, there is a seven feet tall Spartan in red armor, holding a claymore a meter and a half long with its' tip on the ground, and an Assault Rifle on its' back -- Ballistic one, far from the advanced weaponry of the Jedi's world.]

[Luke arrives shortly after his talk with Law, wearing Jedi robes with twin lightsabers clipped to his belt and a sidearm in its holster. She'd probably end up borrowing it again]

[It was a viscious cycle of staying awake for far too long and crashing for hours on end that Lupin was just pulling himself out of that evening, but his thinking was clear enough to change out of his smoke-saturated clothes into something clean and smoothe out his hair before trekking down stairs directly. He offered no warning this time. He didn't care to, but he knew that someone would be there in the apartment below his.

He knocked once, twice, in a deceptively businesslike fashion. Though he trusted Luke, he needed to maintain his front.]

[Luke had been expecting this knock, and opened the door without missing a beat. He swept outside wearing a mysterious smile, brushing past the thief]

I've been expecting you, Lupin. Lets take a walk.

[Action] June 25th, Morning

[Making her rounds in the clinics once she'd arrived back in the village, Adele hat noticed Luke sequestered, out cold, in his own room. Tended to by Ami, and that wasn't at all a surprise, but. That lingering remorse. That regret. She couldn't do more than poke her head in to ensure that he was still breathing and sleeping well before moving on to the next patient. Then the next. So on and so forth for the next few hours until she'd passed out elsewhere for the remainder of the night.

This morning, though, she knocks, a peace offering in hand. It wasn't so early that he'd still be sleeping. Then again, exhaustion does alter one's normal patterns of rest.

That would be a fantastic way to open an apology, by waking a wounded man when he'd rather rest.]

[Luke is, of course, out cold. Three days of battle and rescue, combined with the steady, constant drain of Nomi channeling Battle Meditation through a half dozen telepaths will do that to you. He's not wounded, just tired. Ami's care has been more than adequate, and he's beginning to feel a bit better, but he cannot feel the Force at all still.

When he hears the knock, he sits up.]

Come in.

[Obi-Wan returns from the draft in the smallest hours of morning. The note upon the door directs him to the clinic, and he quickly seeks Luke out.]

"I assume I missed the party?"

[Luke's lying in bed, completely bushed. Not injured, Ami saw to that. He's got a bandage on his arm, but nothing more serious. Just exhausted]

You did. You missed quite a wild one.

July 25 // Action

[The storm front was screwing with him--storm fronts were always screwing with him, Lupin noticed. The vertigo returned with the intensity of a clingy monkey when a front blew in, and the spins alone were enough to make him want to sleep all day just to wait it out. But the driving rain on the window and his own restlessness were starting to get to him.

He had slept most of the day before, and just avoided unnecessary interactions. Despite his lightheartedness, he was very annoyed... But, he knew that Luke would call him out on that once again. It was time to do something about it, before it became an even bigger wall.

It took little effort to locate Luke, even with using the walls as a guiding support. The dizziness was annoying, but he was determined enough to pull through.]

Uhm. Hey. [He kept his voice light, even as he tried to figure out how to start this conversation.] ...It's pretty wet out, huh?

July 25 // Action

[Luke was just sitting in his room, fiddling idly with a bundle of metal and wire, trying to see if maybe he could get another lightsaber constructed. When Lupin stumbled in he looked up from his work, wondering if everything was alright]

Yea, I suppose. You alright?

[Action / Once Ami's Back - 22nd]

[She's had some time now to rest, enjoy the feeling of a leisurely cup of tea, and freshen herself up before meeting Luke.

But to tell the truth, the senshi house feels empty without its most vibrant presence, now that Usagi is gone, and despite herself, Ami feels glad to get out for awhile already.

Punctual as ever, she knocks on Luke's door.]

[Right on cue. Luke's just finished making the grilled cheese she'd requested, and managed to shoo his housemates away for a little while. When she knocks, he's right there, opening the door and beckoning her inside]

Good evening, Ami-chan. Are you feeling more rested?

[It'd been going on for the past few days. Vague and gradual whenever she did have the visions but after the raid at the club it was very clear. The figure that did harm, grievous and visceral harm to those closest to her wasn't an anonymous or unknown individual. The hands that cut and tore, burnt and crushed- that wrung the very life from those she's come to love.

Those hands were her own.

The idea terrifies her. She knows she can't let it stand like this. A murmured word to Ben and she knocks on the door to Luke's bedroom. She's pale, the circles under her eyes darker than before. Shaken.]

[Action] September 1st

[Luke looks up and waves his hand, opening the door casually. When he sees Adele, he stands up and adopts a worried expression]

Adele, what's wrong?

September 15th, Action

[Only a day after the debacle she'd missed, and already she's finding something off about the atmosphere. There was no sign of Lupin but his things were still there. She's tried calling him on his journal, but she's gotten no response at all as of late.

...And then she recalls that he'd signed up for the same mission. It was an opportunity, surely, and they could have worked out a few things before then--which would have been her plan over the week leading up to the date if not for his sudden disappearance from 46...

But that meant breaking the house arrest he was placed under only a month or two ago. So that means...

...Goddamnit. Goddamn it all. Some things just don't change, do they?

Luke will find Alia sitting in the lounge, cradling her head from a growing migraine--this was the last thing she needed, the last thing they all needed, and it happened anyway.]

September 15th, Action

[Luke walks in from the clinic, its pretty late in the afternoon, and he's still somewhat frazzled from the events of the previous evening. He senses Alia's irritation immediately after entering and walks over, quietly taking a seat and folding his hands before him.]

Whats on your mind, Alia? I can tell something's bothering you.

September 18th, Action

[The plastic bottle of pills weighed heavily in his pocket as Lupin slumped beneath a window at House 46 and silently thanked whatever benign gods were out there that the wind was driving the icy rain against the other side of the house. His vertigo had kicked up in his few days off of the lorazepam--and other symptoms that he could only think of as his body readjusting to not having the chemical in his system. He was feverish, unable to keep heavy foods down, and unable to think clearly through the flighty turns of his mind.

Throwing himself into his work had always been his salvation, but he couldn't even keep his hands steady enough to do a fair draft of his plan. He wanted to hunker down and sleep--but.

But.

The commotion he had heard outside of his boomshack weighed heavier than the innocuous pills, and forced him to make a move. He had a feeling that it would be pointless, with Jedi being Jedi, but he had to at least step forward.

While they weren't friends, Lupin had to admit a moderate degree of respect for Ben. Just moderate. Ben hadn't earned more than that.

Lupin light up a cigarette since he had found a location that provided some cover from the rain, glad enough for the familiarity of it even if his hands were rebelling. He took a puff to bolster himself and knocked on the glass panes of Luke's bedroom window.

His last conversation with Smoker flickered to mind. The Marine always helped him, never led him astray. Lupin hoped that this was the case once again.]

September 18th, Action

[Luke had felt both Ben's disappearance and Lupin's presence long, long before the knock. He really didn't want to talk to the thief, and definitely didn't want him in the house, so instead he sent a telepathic response, getting up and leaving his bedroom.]

Yes, what is it?

[Luke had, in fact, heard of Loki from Steve and from Agent Coulson before his departure. However, it wasn't proper for a Jedi Grandmaster to avoid someone based on reputation alone, or to judge. He answers in a friendly tone]

Yes, I'm Luke Skywalker. Nice to meet you, Loki.

[A chuckle]

[Law makes his silent way through the dark towards House 46. He had called ahead about a certain drink.

He was more than ready for it.

Not quite looking forward to where the conversation was inevitably going to lead, but perspective was needed and he only got one side of the story. Quite a bit of perspective, perhaps. He was unwilling to buy it had just been a broken promise and a secret brushed that had brought it all down. Just the catalyst. No, there were issues swimming beneath, like glassfish in inky water, and difficult to perceive.

But perhaps this conversation was inevitable. The rumblings were there at the beach. And he suddenly wished Mister Ginko was around. The man had been the closest thing Luceti had had to a therapist.

Not his role. He was just a doctor and a pirate. And he was there to listen first.]

[When Law had called ahead, Luke had been more than a little surprised. It'd been months since they'd promised themselves that drink, but it had seemed like something else was on the young man's mind. Law was a good doctor, and he'd been a good friend to everyone Luke knew, but he was a quiet and un-intrusive man.

Which meant that something was going on. And he had a feeling what it was.

The Jedi was sitting by the door on a deck chair, a bottle of glowing pink liquor resting with two glasses on a table. A second chair was already pulled out for the pirate doctor. He greeted Law with a crisp salute.]

Hello Law. I trust you've been well?

[She'd written notes to those that didn't live close, talked it over with Law and Saori- but she has a few people yet to be informed of what she's packed and ready to leave for come morning. Luke she decides to tell in person. Besides- they haven't really spoken since he returned. That was mostly on her, though. Avoiding fallout from that particular shift.

She shakes her head and knocks on the front door of house 46, a basket full of apple danish and fritters braced on her hip.]

[Luke opens the door with a smile, beckoning Adele inside]

Hey. Its been a while, come in.

[Obi-Wan has seen little of Luke since his return- between Loki requiring his assistance the previous evening, and being out much of the day, there simply hasn't been time to speak. Prior to that, Luke was out of town, and even had Obi-Wan desired to disturb the well-deserved rest, Luke had left the journal behind.

So it isn't until this evening that Obi-Wan has an opportunity to even properly greet Luke- and as he comes in the door, his attention is immediately drawn to a basket and a note with Adele's handwriting, which he pauses for a moment to read.]

[After Adele had left, Luke had simply sat down in the living room to take a breather. Anakin was sleeping pretty soundly in his old room, having returned earlier that day, and Artoo was powered down in a corner. Idly, Luke fiddled with a rubix cube, trying to understand how anyone could consider such a thing a puzzle.

When Obi-Wan walked in, Luke nodded over to him]

Did you see Adele's note?

Spock is amenable to the experiment I proposed.

We probably ought to meet in person before too long so we might discuss protocols, etc.

Upon sober reflection, I also think it best that:

1) Subjects are approached by you or Spock. Considering my... social status, my presence would not be helpful unless mitigated by that of someone else. I do not wish to scuttle a potentially interesting activity by inviting paranoid scrutiny.

2) We keep this to ourselves until there is some concrete result one way or the other. It seems a bit silly to potentially alarm others over what is an offhand hypothesis.

And I agree with those assessments. You aren't the most popular man in the village, I'm afraid. No offense intended. And the possibility of creating a panic or needless paranoia if our hypothesis is incorrect would be very foolhardy.

[Lovely timing, Luke. Just lovely. The day after he's washed his hands completely of the self righteous little turd, and Luke calls the meeting. He's already in a bad mood, with Rogue gone and the unresolved nature of that situation. This only conspires to put him in an even more foul temper.

But he will be in control of this. He's better than the boy, and he'll not be judged by him.

Loki shows up at the Battle Dome precisely on time, simply appearing in the doorway and walking through. He pauses at the front entrance to wait for the others.

He's dressed neatly, expression cool and utterly controlled. He doesn't want to be here in the slightest, but he's not going to give any sign of that. He'll bide his time and see how things play out, then decide what he'll do.]

[Action, January 7]

[Luke turned up a few moments later, walking out of one simulation and into the hallway to meet the two Lokis. The workout had been good, and he figured that he was going to need it to relax himself before this mess began in earnest. He could feel the...irritation from the oldest Loki as he rounded the corner, but his face was calm as usual.

With a salute, the Jedi approached, glad that he'd had the foresight to bring food. And tea.]

Good afternoon.

[January 24, Action] Sorry for the backdating

[Loki isn't limping any more since he healed the wound in his leg in the morning, so the only lingering aftermath of his encounter with Garrosh is a sense of supreme amusement.

Still, he thinks it best to mention this one to Luke, since the Jedi seem very serious about keeping the peace. And Loki actually like Ami enough that he doesn't really like the idea of seeing her run afoul of the hostile orc.

His regular meeting with Luke is the next day, so he might as well mention it then.]

Oh, by the by, have you encountered someone by the name of Garrosh?

[January 24, Action] I don't mind!

[Luke blinked at the question. He had indeed run into the orc, and found the large, dark skinned man to be rather unpleasant. He'd seemed quite keen on taking over the farm, and...doing all manner of things.]

I have. Garrosh Hellscream. He was up at the farm earlier today with a lot of questions. Why do you ask?

[And Garrosh would find more than Hell to pay if he touched Ami. That was certain.]
