[She's had some time now to rest, enjoy the feeling of a leisurely cup of tea, and freshen herself up before meeting Luke.

But to tell the truth, the senshi house feels empty without its most vibrant presence, now that Usagi is gone, and despite herself, Ami feels glad to get out for awhile already.

Punctual as ever, she knocks on Luke's door.]

[Right on cue. Luke's just finished making the grilled cheese she'd requested, and managed to shoo his housemates away for a little while. When she knocks, he's right there, opening the door and beckoning her inside]

Good evening, Ami-chan. Are you feeling more rested?

[Ami gives a quick nod as she steps inside.]

Mm. I spent awhile looking over the records from the Clinic for the time I was gone. [Yes, this counts as relaxing and resting.]

[Luke doesn't even bat an eyelash and directs her attention to the table. Two places were set, with fresh grilled cheese and cups of hot tea steaming on the table. In the center was a box, wrapped neatly and covered in Galactic script]

Have a seat.

[Ami pauses as soon as she sees the box. It's right in the center of the table... is it meant for her?

Assumptions would be awkward, so she settles for a smile at the dinner.]

Perfectly timed.

Yes, you are right on time.

[Luke walks over to the table and holds out a chair for her]

Have a seat.

I meant all of this - your cooking. [Still, she slips into the offered seat. She can smell the tea; the very scent - and the fact she'll have time to leisurely drink it - is relaxing.]

I told you earlier, I mean to spoil you for a day.

[Luke takes his seat and waves his hand, dimming the lights just slightly.]

I didn't think you meant it like this.

[She's also not complaining. It feels nice to be fussed over, especially when she's running tired and getting back into the swing of her normal routine.]

I'll be sure to pay you back.

I'm glad you like it.

[Luke picks up his food and takes a bite]

[It's strange: It's not particularly cold, but the warmth of the tea feels good. And the more she begins to relax, the more stable she feels. Grounded.]

This might sound a bit strange, but I think it's helping.

Helping with your floating?

[He's glad to hear it!]

Mm. While I feel comfortable like this, I can concentrate and focus. So I stay on the ground.

Then I'm glad you're comfortable. What else would make that better?

[Ami gives a satisfied smile.]

This is already very good. I missed this. [Leisurely evenings, or Luke?]

[He's not one to pry]

I did too. I'm glad to have you back.

I'm relieved to be away from the Malnosso - and back with my friends.

Its been hard, I've missed you a lot you know.

I thought of everyone while I was gone. I wanted to make sure... the Malnosso couldn't take those thoughts and memories away from me.

Good. I...don't know how I'd have taken you forgetting me, after everything.

I don't want something like that to happen ever again. [It'd be nice if she felt as confident as the words about making sure it doesn't happen again.]

Well, maybe there's something I can do. I know it might seem strange, but I'm actually good at Mnemotherapy. One of the things I've learned to do is make memories able to resurface in dreams if they're forgotten.

[She has to hold back a 'no!' - she's not sure she wants to remember everything.

Except that not knowing was always worse.]

Can you do that - no matter how the memories were lost?

I don't know about memories between here and home. I've never had a chance to try it.

What about if they were missing back in our world?
