[Inside is a familiar looking cylindrical device, molded to fit her hands thanks to measurements Luke took in secret during a training session. The hilt is smooth and well gripped for someone about Ami's size, with soft leather to help avoid calluses]

[Ami's eyes widen as she stares into the box.]

It's a lightsaber! [Those same eyes fly to Luke, and after a second, Ami smiles.] Then, you'll have to keep training me.

[Luke nods and beams back at her]

Of course we'll keep training. How does it feel? Is the weight right? I can alter the balance and adjust it, but I think I got the measurements right.

[Ami's eyes never leave the lightsaber as she tests the weight and balance - without activating it, at first. Not here. After a few test movements, she nods.]

You must have planned for this for a long time, to have made it.

[Luke smirks, the time spent with Lupin clearly rubbing off a little bit]

[Luke stands and takes a seat beside her, offering a comforting smile. He doesn't want to leave her alone]

Ami-chan...I feel the same way about Anakin. Its...easier having friends here.

[Ami's doing good to be able to admit the desire that clearly. Luke's support makes it ok that she said it so clearly, and she feels a bit lighter.

Luckily, this time, her body doesn't comply with lightness of its own.]
