[He remembered more than Luke would likely be comfortable with, if the use of the nickname was any indicator. Lupin smiled, and reached for something in the pocket of his vest.]

Think fast--[He tosses the jar filled with plastic bait. Without knowing where Luke would want to go that afternoon, it was impossible to decide between shrimp or earthworms as bait. He could have split the difference and grabbed a brick of cheap cheese, but it wouldn't be the same.]

It's good that you have some time. Clear your afternoon, Luke. If I remember right, you wanted to learn how to fish.

I...uh...huh? [Luke catches the jar without a problem, and blinks at Lupin]

Oh. Right. Fishing. I would, and I can surely make time for that. Especially when I've got all the time in the galaxy.

Come on. [He waves a hand, a little impatient.] Rods are in the hall.

Alright, lets go then. [Luke puts down the hydrospanner he'd been working with and follows Lupin outside]

[He passes Luke one of the rods and collects the two others, bucket, and backpack that contains snacks, filleting knives and towels in case of a sudden storm or an impulse to go swimming. Lupin's intent was a hard day or relaxation, and it was clear that he didn't mind staying out for a while.]

How about the beach? It's away from town, calm, peaceful...and salt water fishing can be pretty fun.

It's hard to know what I think--I've got the feelings and memories of two very different men in my head right now. Having more is better than not having enough, but it's wierd.

Have you ever had moments where you're not sure who you're looking at in the mirror? It sometimes hits me after spending long periods in disguise.
