21st Transmission [Video/Written/Action] (Forward Dated to March 17)

[Well it's about that time of year, when the weather begins to shift and it's beginning to get to the point where cultivating and preparing to for planting season is becoming a necessity. And to get all this started, Luke needs your help. He opens up the journal and smiles at the camera.]

Good afternoon Luceti,

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Luke Skywalker. For the last couple of years I've been tending to some of the farmlands outside the village, trying to build up emergency stores as well as bringing a bit of self-sufficiency to the enclosure. And as some of you may know, within the last year both Nami and Applejack have both departed, leaving the orchards near the farmland untended. I've been tending to them as best I can, but the vast majority of the help I had with the work has also returned home.

In the interest of better utilizing the space I'd like to request the help of anyone willing to volunteer their time with a bit of manual labor. I'm afraid it's simply not going to be possible to manage it all by myself, and any help would be greatly appreciated. It's beginning to near the planting season, after all. I'm happy to offer whatever services I can provide in exchange.

[There's a pause, and he seems to look somewhere off camera.]

On a related note, if there's anyone who knows anything about building irrigation systems, I'd appreciate any advice.

Alright! [And he thinks- but not too long.] I knowww... four psychic pokémon!

[Red that is not a pokémon-]

One of them eats dreams, one sleeps most of the day, another can make walls with its hands - and the other is a pile of big looking eggs! But the eggs are also part grass. Also, no matter what, there's always six of them.

[Another second to think...!]

If you were a psychic type pokémon, you'd be weak to bugs, ghosts, and dark. [Unless you're from gen 1.] But ghost pokémon are weak to ghost pokémon too, and dark pokémon... [Um.] ...I don't know any dark pokémon. Not yet, anyway!

[Luke raises an eyebrow.]

Well, lucky for me I'm not a psychic pokemon, huh? I happen to like insects, and ghosts.

[Why not, he'll humor the young man.]

[pokeboy]

[He laughs a bit.]

Yeah, but you know, if you were - that's the closest type you'd be, I think. [Smiling!] And you don't have to hate bugs or ghosts. Just, you shouldn't get on the wrong side of them - or you'll be in trouble.

[Bugs shoot first.]

Well that's fair.

[He's been on the wrong side of a ghost once. It wasn't fun.]

What about you? What would you be?

[pokeboy]

Hmm... well, I'm normal - I can't do psychic powers or magic. That means I'd be weak to fighting types, but ghosts can't hurt me.

But I can't hurt ghosts either. [...] It's kind of like a video game when you think about it, but way more intense. [Nod!] It's all about strategy.

Well, I've heard a bit about the types from Ikki. What are psychics strong against?

[pokeboy]

Poison and... fighting! [He nods a head towards Saur.] That means you're strong against Saur. Or just got an advantage! [Because, you know. His ivysaur rocks.

But-] Ikki's the girl with the flying pokémon, isn't she?

[thefinaljedi]

[Luke looks down at the ivysaur and gives it a teasing smile.]

You hear that, apparently I have an advantage beyond thumbs.

[And back to Red.]

Yes, Aang's granddaughter.

[pokeboy]

[Ivysaur looks up at him, making a quizzical sound at the comment about thumbs. Thumbs?]

Aang? [...] I don't know about them, but she was making bets with me when I came! She kept talking about time travelling and... alternate universes? [He makes a face.] I didn't believe her. She kept trying to say her seventy year old grandpa wasn't seventy!

[Luke laughs]

Aang's a lot older than I am. It's not my story to tell, though. You should ask him. But, yes, there are plenty of strange things, alternate universes and the like here. My parents are both here, living with me. And they're younger than me.

[pokeboy]

...Are you sure?


[Yes you sound very sure but are you sure. Red doesn't want you to be sure but that is a very strange thing to say--?

plus he doesn't want Ikki to be right errrrgghh.]

Positive. If you don't believe me, ask around for Anakin or Padme Skywalker. They're younger than me by a fair margin. That should quell any of your doubts about time being weird here.

[pokeboy]

[Well, he's never one to go around talking and asking people he doesn't know about things, but maybe he won't do that. He looks down to the ground instead, falling more silent, sparing a look over to Saur one or two times. Professor Oak being here? Strange time... distortion?

Saori did tell him to just accept it, but...]

...Was everything really confusing when you first got here too?

[thefinaljedi]

[Smiling good naturedly, Luke nods. He remembers being in Red's shoes once.]

Yes, absolutely. It still is, but I make do. You'll get used to it in time.

[pokeboy]

Hmmm... I guess so. [Is he just going to have to try and not think so hard about things?]

...You really have younger versions of your parents here? What's that like?

[thefinaljedi]

Well, it's a little odd. But it's nice. [He shrugs.] I never knew my parents growing up, so it's an experience, at least.

Yeah? [That could mean two things, but... let's be careful.] Do you hang out with them? You could really get to know them a bunch!

I do. We all live together, so it's definitely a good chance. I wouldn't trade it for the entire galaxy.

[pokeboy]

[That sounds rather big. But nice, too.]

I don't know what I would do with my parents here... what do you do other than the farm land work? Can your parents do the Force stuff with you?

[thefinaljedi]

Well, I work in the clinic with my girlfriend. And I try and keep prepared for whatever might happen.

And, my father is a Jedi Knight, yes. My mother, though, she's not. She's a Senator in the Galactic Senate. So, she's very interested in politics, diplomacy, and that sort of thing.

[pokeboy]

[Oh! That's diverse. But...]

Umm... so a Senator is like a mayor? Or a leader? ....I don't really know a lot about politics.

[thefinaljedi]

Something like that. She's part of a council of thousands that takes care of laws and rules for the entire galaxy.

[pokeboy]

Sounds...busy. [or boring]

Being Jedi Knights sound exciting! We've got people called the police in my world, but we don't have any knights.

[thefinaljedi]

We have those too, the Jedi are a little different.

[And, they've definitely made it to the farm by now. It's a few fields, a lot of trees in the orchards, and some small buildings, the largest of which Luke is heading for.]

[pokeboy]

[Wow, look at it all anyway. Luke, aren't you glad that your company to it was a curious 10 year old boy? Who is following Luke along with his pokémon. Speaking of curious...]

What's in the buildings? [!] Are they the stables? With your animal inside?
