[Well it's about that time of year, when the weather begins to shift and it's beginning to get to the point where cultivating and preparing to for planting season is becoming a necessity. And to get all this started, Luke needs your help. He opens up the journal and smiles at the camera.]

Good afternoon Luceti,

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Luke Skywalker. For the last couple of years I've been tending to some of the farmlands outside the village, trying to build up emergency stores as well as bringing a bit of self-sufficiency to the enclosure. And as some of you may know, within the last year both Nami and Applejack have both departed, leaving the orchards near the farmland untended. I've been tending to them as best I can, but the vast majority of the help I had with the work has also returned home.

In the interest of better utilizing the space I'd like to request the help of anyone willing to volunteer their time with a bit of manual labor. I'm afraid it's simply not going to be possible to manage it all by myself, and any help would be greatly appreciated. It's beginning to near the planting season, after all. I'm happy to offer whatever services I can provide in exchange.

[There's a pause, and he seems to look somewhere off camera.]

On a related note, if there's anyone who knows anything about building irrigation systems, I'd appreciate any advice.

Loki, I know this is much less interesting than musical theater and cookies, but I was hoping I could get your help with a bit of magical work on the farm.

Law, I figure we should probably revisit some of those supply caches and check on them. Possibly restock and take care of a few other things down that vein.

[Karis was somewhat reluctant to answer due to her lack of knowledge on farming, but she simply couldn't resist on volunteering herself.]

I'm willing to help out on all the manual labor stuff, though, I don't really know much about farming, but I'm willing to learn. [And possibly integrate this into the physical training she's been doing.]

[Ginia bows her head at Law as she enters the clinic. With all the time she spends at the Battle Dome, the clinic there is the one she's most familiar with. She'll move aside to the side, studying the clinic and paying attention to everything around her.]

I'm interested. Is there somewhere we can meet to talk in person?

[Luke enters and heads down a hallway towards the back room. It's not a big place, a few doors leading into examining rooms and recovery rooms, a desk, and a few doors that lead into offices. The front is just fairly sterile, well lit, and has a few benches.]

Then of course. I'd love to have the help. Maybe we can rearrange some shifts with Dr. McCoy and some of the others to better manage this.

[Luke grins, though Gambit might not see it.]

I'm there every day from dawn till around noon, when it starts to get hot. And some afternoons. Whenever's convenient for you, my friend.

Of course. It'd be appreciated, sir. What sort are you willing or able to do?

[Luke beams at Sakura. ~~He's presumably met her since they do work at the clinic together, though they haven't really spoken.~~]

I'd appreciate it. It'd mostly be occasional mornings and such until everything's planted.

Well, I don’t know much about planting...but I can help with transporting supplies and such. If I can learn about the upkeep of the crops, I can help with that as well.

Are there any other tasks you would ask?

Well, to be fair, most people aren't. But it's simple work. What I need help with should take you all of an hour to figure out.

[He grins.]

Just depends on how much you're willing to do.

Certainly. I'm happy to meet you at the plaza, or another location if you'd prefer.

The plaza is fine. I'll be there soon.

[True to his word, Levi arrives at the plaza in just a few minutes, having not been very far away. He crosses his arms, scanning for this person he is to meet. He's wearing the deep green cloak, the insignia of the Survey Corps (his original wings, the new, foreign ones folded neatly against his back underneath) plain to see.]

That might work best. I can try to to talk with some of the other doctors soon.

Hey, I heard about you.

I'd like to help with the food stuff. Where I'm from nothing grew, so I don't know anything about it, but I can work.

Tending dead branches in the orchards, for a start. That's the simplest, and upkeep is also a simple thing. I'd be happy to show you.

[Luke arrives a moment later, living maybe fifty yards from the plaza does have it's perks. He heads over to the fountain dressed in the same black and grey tunic, pants, and boots, with no visible insignias on him. The pair of lightsabers clipped to his belt are the only real color on him save his exposed left hand, contrasting with his gloved right.]

Excellent. I'll ask around too.

Oh? Who from?

And I'd be happy to show you. It's not difficult once you know what to do.

[Levi studies him a moment before approaching. He's not wearing the gear today, but he's never unarmed even just wandering around the village. Eventually he walks up to Luke, stopping a couple of paces away.]

Are you the one looking for help with the food supply?

Well, everything the Community Projects does together is all volunteer, anyway, so I can just bring it up to some of the members and see if maybe I can gather more help. How many people do you need?

[Looking up at the question, Luke nods and rises, extending his gloved hand.]

That's right. I'm Luke Skywalker, and it's nice to meet you in person.

Oh right. Ginia. I was asking her about where the food came from. I don't trust the food supplies here. My name's Farlan.

Just tell me when and where.

[Levi takes his hand in a firm grip]

Levi. And you.

I'd like to know more about what resources are already established, and what you need help with. I may be able to bring in several extra hands if it means we'll have food security should the Malnosso suddenly decide to cut off supplies.
