[Well it's about that time of year, when the weather begins to shift and it's beginning to get to the point where cultivating and preparing to for planting season is becoming a necessity. And to get all this started, Luke needs your help. He opens up the journal and smiles at the camera.]

Good afternoon Luceti,

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Luke Skywalker. For the last couple of years I've been tending to some of the farmlands outside the village, trying to build up emergency stores as well as bringing a bit of self-sufficiency to the enclosure. And as some of you may know, within the last year both Nami and Applejack have both departed, leaving the orchards near the farmland untended. I've been tending to them as best I can, but the vast majority of the help I had with the work has also returned home.

In the interest of better utilizing the space I'd like to request the help of anyone willing to volunteer their time with a bit of manual labor. I'm afraid it's simply not going to be possible to manage it all by myself, and any help would be greatly appreciated. It's beginning to near the planting season, after all. I'm happy to offer whatever services I can provide in exchange.

[There's a pause, and he seems to look somewhere off camera.]

On a related note, if there's anyone who knows anything about building irrigation systems, I'd appreciate any advice.

Well, everything the Community Projects does together is all volunteer, anyway, so I can just bring it up to some of the members and see if maybe I can gather more help. How many people do you need?

To plant and water? Just a few, no more than five or six. More would make it go faster, of course. To maintain the orchards? Another handful. I know Nami and Applejack managed them with basically just the help of myself and a few other friends around harvest time.

Mm, alright, I'll see what I can do.

Regardless of who I might be able to find, you can count me in.

I appreciate it. I've had a few volunteers, some from your village I believe, but I certainly won't turn down more help.

Actually, last fall Chouji Akimichi helped me re-till the soil for the winter. I don't suppose you know any Earth jutsus, or know anyone who might be able to help me with setting up an irrigation ditch?

Actually, I do know quite a lot of earth jutsus. What would you need me to do? Just create a ditch?

Well, the actual canal Toph has volunteered to make. Would it be possible for you to loosen the soil up around the farm? Make it softer, easier to plant?

Sure, that shouldn't be too difficult to do.

That would be extremely helpful, then. Tilling it takes days when done manually.

I think I should be able to expedite that.

That'd be spectacular. When have you got the time?

I could do it tomorrow morning.

Oh, if you can do it yourself, that's fine but I have a meeting tomorrow morning with Trafalgar Law. If you need me there, I can be back at the farm around two though.

Mm, I can handle it well enough with my pack. Just mark the fields you need tilled, and I'll take care of it.
