20th Transmission: Episode III: Revenge of the Fourth Wall (Catchall)
[Luke Skywalker's usual routine isn't really altered by the presence of newcomers. He's got a wedding to attend, but beyond that he'll be doing his usual parkour runs along the rooftops of Luceti, working on the farm and helping out around the Clinic. Good Spirits is another likely place to find him in the evenings, having a cup of hot chocolate.
[Rei's routine is somewhat broken up by the stream of newcomers and Law's wedding, but when she's not working at Tsukino Shrine she'll be around Luceti's village shopping, eating, and taking care of daily life. Sailor Mars does make an appearance at the Battle Dome as well.]
[Saori goes through life as normal, though these new people are certainly exciting! She'll drift around Luceti on a cloud, watching the people coming and going with obvious interest. This many strangers is definite a sight to see, and she's looking for people that she knows or who seem to be showing an interest in the odd lady flying on a cloud.]
[Anko is a little bit put off by all the newcomers. She'll be in the bakery, basically gorging herself on sweets, and if anyone tries to come near the dango they might find themselves dealing with an irate ninja, a poisonous snake, or both. Once it gets dark, she heads over to Good Spirits for a drink or two. Which might make her happy and social. Or it might make her even more irritable...]
[OOC: This is a catchall for Luke, Rei, Sailor Mars, Saori, and Anko. Just let me know which you want in the header, or if you don't care I'll decide randomly.]

[Action]
[He pauses, unsure of how best to describe it.]
A bomb that prevents resurrection. It was dropped on a Third Party fortress in the desert, and the shift will apparently last for four or five centuries. I supported the action, along with most of the enclosure. We'd uncovered information that projected that Luceti would be overrun in a matter of two years at best if it was not dealt with.
And finally, there was a Third Party invasion of the enclosure within the last six months. Count Zompano, a former Malnosso turned rogue infiltrated Luceti and used a shift to make us all believe we'd lived here our entire lives. I was married to Ami, and had a daughter. Arya Stark. It was broken when that goddess friend of yours killed Zompano. As I understand it, she was injured but recovered. We later learned that during that action by the enemy, Vaskoth was completely destroyed.
[Action]
He could see the utility and necessity. He had once thought the Third Party might be prospective allies against the Malnosso, but had experienced first-hand that the Third Party were far, far worse. They were a threat. One that had to be eliminated for the safety of those not native to this world who had been brought here against their wills.
That didn't mean its use wasn't a horrible tragedy, or that it wouldn't weigh terribly upon Luke's shoulders. But it was still the necessary decision. The only decision. The needs of the many.
The Third Party invasion was unsurprising. The Third Party would no doubt desire retribution for the severity of the loss. The loss of Vaskoth was unfortunate, especially with how hard they had once fought to protect it, but some things could not be helped.]
"... I... regret that I could not be here to help you through all of that."
[Where had he been, since then? In the desert. Communing with Qui-Gon and receiving no answer. Settling petty domestic quarrels that erupted into full-scale attempted genocide. It was not insignificant, nor without its valuable lessons, but it certainly paled in comparison.]
"I agree with your decision about the bomb. For whatever it may be worth. It was a necessary act."
[Action]
[War is always regrettable, as is violence, but the sheer scale of battle that a Jedi is used to simply dwarfs nuclear weapons. Still, it has weighed on him, because of the significance others placed on it.]
It was necessary, and it pulled a great deal of pressure off of the Malnosso forces in the region, which seems to have led to a decrease in the number of drafts. There was one last spring, but none since. That's saved our people a great deal of trouble. Which is selfish, I admit, but I've come to see the Third Party as the real threat. The Malnosso merely torment us, but ultimately they don't seem to want us dead. The Third Party on the other hand...
[Action]
[He takes a deep breath and sighs.]
"But I've seen for myself how intractable the Third Party were. I agree, there's no reasonable hope of a peaceful resolution. The Malnosso, however unpalatable it may be, are our allies."
[Well.]
"... Your allies now, I suppose."
[Action]
[Psychotic scientists almost always do. But he's definitely noticed the lack of wings.]
I suppose this visit's temporary? That's just as well, there's no sense in being trapped here if it can be avoided.
[Action]
[Hey, man, he enjoys chatting with you, it's not like he'll get all that many chances in his future.
Barring an unscheduled return to Luceti, of course.]
[Action]
[Luke claps the older man on the shoulder.]
We could head to the bakery. Aang's in charge of it now, as apparently Rapunzel departed recently, but I'm sure there are fritters.
[Action]
[He chuckles and follows Luke.]
[Action]
[He takes off at a trot and hops down into the plaza, slow enough that Ben can follow without trouble.]
So, Tatooine, huh?
[Action]
[He chuckles at his moment of self-deprecating humor, then continues.]
"Within months of arriving, I managed to become embroiled in a struggle between a community of local settlers and a tribe of the Sand People. Fortunately, I was able to resolve the issue with minimal loss of life."
