20th Transmission: Episode III: Revenge of the Fourth Wall (Catchall)

[Luke Skywalker's usual routine isn't really altered by the presence of newcomers. He's got a wedding to attend, but beyond that he'll be doing his usual parkour runs along the rooftops of Luceti, working on the farm and helping out around the Clinic. Good Spirits is another likely place to find him in the evenings, having a cup of hot chocolate.

[Rei's routine is somewhat broken up by the stream of newcomers and Law's wedding, but when she's not working at Tsukino Shrine she'll be around Luceti's village shopping, eating, and taking care of daily life. Sailor Mars does make an appearance at the Battle Dome as well.]

[Saori goes through life as normal, though these new people are certainly exciting! She'll drift around Luceti on a cloud, watching the people coming and going with obvious interest. This many strangers is definite a sight to see, and she's looking for people that she knows or who seem to be showing an interest in the odd lady flying on a cloud.]

[Anko is a little bit put off by all the newcomers. She'll be in the bakery, basically gorging herself on sweets, and if anyone tries to come near the dango they might find themselves dealing with an irate ninja, a poisonous snake, or both. Once it gets dark, she heads over to Good Spirits for a drink or two. Which might make her happy and social. Or it might make her even more irritable...]

[OOC: This is a catchall for Luke, Rei, Sailor Mars, Saori, and Anko. Just let me know which you want in the header, or if you don't care I'll decide randomly.]

[Ah, January. For any person, it might be a sort of irritating day, being as cold as it is. Fortunately -- or unfortunately -- this newcomer is prepared for the bite of the winter air!]

[...because they're covered in fur, of course.]

[That's right, the inquisitive newcomer is a corgi! Sniffing at feet, jumping into snow piles, snatching unattended treats! It's the life that one could only dream of!]

[...unless you actually are a corgi, in which case you probably dream of bacon. ~~But the mun digresses.~~]

[Long story short, the pup is dead set on sticking her snout anywhere and everywhere. Sorry in advance!]

[Obi-Wan wasn't sure when exactly he wound up on the roof of a small building.

Nor, for that matter, was he prepared for the angle.

A moment later, he began attempting to recover his balance, far too late, and instead wound up clinging to the edge of the roof. And then the deja-vu settled in.

... Luceti?

Fortunately, he heard somebody else running along the roof. Oh, good. Perhaps they could render assistance.]

I knew this place. I definitely knew this place.

Unfortunately, I didn't much like this place. But hell, this is me we're talking about, it was hardly surprising.

A familiar face caught my eye, and I wheeled around. "Woah. Hey."

[One such newcomer does not seem surprised by his sudden appearance here in a strange place. While there is a hint of curiosity Qui-Gon simply accepts what is. He moves closer to the farm and to the very strong presence in the Force. Hands are tucked into the sleeves of his robe and the dark thing covers his lightsaber strapped to his belt.]

Good day. Could I trouble you for our current location?

[Obi-Wan's presence hits Luke's senses and he skids to a stop.]

Ben?!

[And here's that helping hand. Up you go.]

Ben is that you?

"For the moment."

[Obi-Wan grins as Luke helps him up, and as soon as he's back on his feet he claps Luke's shoulder before pulling him into a hug, grinning broadly.]

"I wish I could say it were good to be back, but for the moment I shall satisfy myself that it's good to see you."

[When Luke feels the presence of another Jedi approaching he sets down his tools and makes his way over to meet the man. And he's surprised to find himself looking at someone he'd only heard of from Obi-Wan and those damn films. Ben hadn't talked much about Qui-Gon, but he'd talked a bit before he'd departed.]

Certainly. You're in Luceti. [He raises a hand to forestall the inevitable.] A world outside our Galaxy, and very likely outside our reality.

When she heard that voice, Rei whirled and her eyes lit up, a happy smile splitting her face.

"Harry!? Harry, is that you?!"

[The minute Luke's hand goes up, a bit of amusement flickers over his face and he chuckles.]

You appear to be used to explaining the situation. I expect that there is no way home but the way we arrived.

[Which was to say suddenly and without warning.]

[Well...okay, so this is pretty weird. Anko can't help but watch this dog with the ridiculous glasses snuffling around under a table at the bakery, clearly looking for something.

And despite how annoying everything is right now, the dog's pretty cute.]

Hey little guy, looking for something?

[Luke smiles at the older man and nods.]

You could say that, yes. I've been stuck here for two years, and others longer. And yes, you are correct, unfortunately. And the means of arrival and departure is a bit of a mystery.

[Luke pauses, considering, before bowing his head slightly.]

And while I don't believe you'll know who I am, I believe I know you. Your former padawan has told me a great deal about you, Master Jinn.

"Rei!"

Man, that was a rush of memories. But they were mostly positive, so I was willing to enjoy them as I returned the grin.

"How long was I gone?"

She rushed over and threw her arms around him, pulling him close.

"A long time. A year, at least. The last time I saw you was last January. Have things been okay at home? Were you gone long?"

Yeah, I know what you mean.

[Luke grabs Ben up into a big hug as well, squeezing tight.]

It's good to see you too. It's been a while, and hopefully your stay will be short.

[Good thing about a Jedi is that they accept a situation with more ease than others might.]

Then I suppose I might as well make myself comfortable here.

[He's in no rush to leave this world. Qui-Gon watches Luke for a moment.]

And which former padawan might that be? [Obi-Wan is still technically his padawan now.]

[Luke shakes his head, smiling weakly. It really was good that Jedi were just more accepting of this strangeness. The Force acted in mysterious ways, after all.]

Obi-Wan Kenobi. And I expect that might sound strange, but time can sometimes be strange here in this world. Obi-Wan was my first Master, but when I came to know him here, he was barely five years my senior.

"How has everybody been? Nothing has gone too horribly awry, I trust?"

[More so than usual, anyway...]

I returned the hug quickly, thinking over the question. How things had been at home?

Christ, how would I tell her what had happened at home? What I'd had to do to Susan? What had happened to me? What I'd become? What had happened in the year and a half I'd been gone?

... No. No way was I dumping that on her. So I kept the smile firmly in place and I called on that skill at lying that I'd been forced to cultivate, ignoring the knot of guilt in my stomach.

"It's been a while, but, well, y'know me. I kick ass, I take names, I keep on keepin' on."

[Qui-Gon's time in their Galaxy - in their reality had ended. There was little more he could do there. Eventually he would return to fulfill what must be done.]

He was still my padawan when I left. [Though he suspects Obi-Wan will become a Knight after his defeat of the Sith.] Ah, so not just a collection of realities but of different times as well.

Yes. That's right. Sorry. I know it's a little complicated.

[He'll extend his hand in greeting, finally.]

My name is Luke Skywalker, and it's a pleasure to meet you, Master Jinn.

Everyone's more or less alright, all things considered. I haven't seen much of Loki, but he's still here. And since you've been gone, Anakin's returned. And Mother as well.

[And his eyes? Are definitely happy. For once.]

Rei's brow furrowed slightly when she heard that and felt the lie in his voice. She gave him a gentle squeeze and pulled back, looking waaay up at him with a worried expression.

"You do. But you also get hurt, and bad things happen to you. And you're also a terrible liar, Harry."

[Okay number one where the hell is she, why is she here, and whose face does she have to get into to get out of this mess?

These are all questions Mara really, really like an answer to. And how lucky for her, even half-trained she can still sense that nice big locus of Force energy that is Skywalker over that-a-way.

Because of course it's him. Of course. At least he can be relied on to give her straight answers. Time for a chat.]

[Luke's eyebrows flicker when he senses another Force sensitive in the enclosure. Mara's presence is familiar, at least, unlike some of the others here. And while it's not exactly...comforting, at least Mara's not an enemy.

Probably.

He'll head towards her, at least willing to give answers. Stepping into view of one of the streets, he keeps a bit of distance between them. Time, after all, might make her an enemy.]

Mara.

[Well, she doesn't start shooting the minute she sees him (with what sidearm, Jade?) so that's a good sign, yes?

She pauses when she sees him, and even if her attitude is less friendly than he probably remembers from their most recent encounters outside of Luceti, she's not openly hostile either. Just crosses her arms and gives him a long look.]

Should've known. Wind up in some crazy mess a million light-years from anything I recognize, and I still run into you, Skywalker.
