[In the mid-morning Luke broadcasts a Video feed through the journal system. He stands squarely in front of the camera and speaks in a clear voice. It was a simple, fairly quick message that was open to anyone willing to listen. The seasons were changing and the first real cold snap couldn't be too far away. That meant...harvest time.]

Good morning everyone, this is Luke Skywalker and like usual I've got quite a lot of things to address. Please bear with me, this might get a little lengthy.

First, as this New Feather Cycle comes to a close I would like to welcome every newcomer to our little purgatory. I know things may seem confusing, and I'd like to offer my help to anyone that needs it. I'm willing to help however I can to make your transition as easy as I can, should you require medical assistance, need help moving heavy things, or even just need someone to talk to, feel free to contact me.

Secondly, I would like to thank Doctor Eggman for his instrumental assistance with the farm. He has been an invaluable help towards keeping everything watered and growing smoothly. His hard work has kept the farm running while I have been preoccupied.

Third, if anyone is available to help this weekend, I would greatly appreciate assistance in bringing in the final harvest of the farm's produce. We managed to actually grow quite a lot, and I'd like to make sure it all gets brought in before the frosts set in. I'll be out there all day on Saturday, and while I have some mechanical aid, more hands or hooves would definitely speed the process up quite a bit. Related to that, the food harvested will be added to shops, as well as preserved and stored where we can manage to find room. I've always felt that it's better to have too much food set aside for emergencies than just enough. [He chuckles]

Finally, I'd like to close with a question, as so many people often do. How do people prepare for winter in your world? I admit that this will be my second winter in Luceti but I've never actually been present for a seasonal shift from autumn to winter. I'm from a desert world, so we have very little in the way of actual winter weather.

Action:

[Saturday, Luke and Eggman are out and about at the farm, doing their best to collect the harvest with a small flotilla of heavily modified training remotes that have Eggman-style arms attached to pick things. Eggman, of course, is doing zero manual labor, but he's programming robots and maintaining them. A Bantha with large buckets is used to transport the food to the village for storage and consumption, as well as a repulsor-sled. If anyone wants to help with the harvest, the Jedi and the Inventor would definitely appreciate the help.]

(OOC: Tag wherever you'd like and if its an action portion feel free to tag around or thread hop like its a log. I can't promise I'll answer every harvest tag with Luke, but I will try. If you'd like to handwave that your character helped harvest, thats fine too! Lets get all Harvest Moon up inz!)

No, Han and Chewie aren't. Obi-Wan and Anakin are, however.

Not Darth Vader, his timeline is different, and he hasn't become Darth Vader yet. I would appreciate it if you would not talk about Vader on unsecure lines. He does not know his future, and does not wish to know.

It would be very bad for you to let him know.

I am debating if I should purchase a book for autographs. It is very important that I must have the autographs of all the famous people. Or I should get two, so I can keep one for myself and a second one to sell on the site of Ebay.

[That seems like a splendid idea, actually and Loki makes sure he won't forget. Second of all, he is glad that Luke refrains from mentioning his older self. He is almost tempted to compliment him for such a feat!]

[Luke is not tactless. And really? He's used to the time-jumping and odd things.]

I'll happily sign an autograph for you. Or two. Since you promised so nicely. My father is very dear to me, and he's younger than I am, because of the strange timelines.

Maybe three? A promise from Loki is worth at least three autographs, Luke Skywalker.

Aye, this sounds very familiar. After all,...before you start mentioning I cannot be Loki because of the fact there is another Loki, there is a version of my older self here as well.

He is rather,...peculiar, you see?

If you want three, I can arrange that.

Why couldn't there be more than one Loki? Different universes and all.

[Luke shrugs]

I've met him, he's not too bad. We've spent some time together sharing philosophy, and I don't mind his company.

And I want to see your saber of light. And hold it.

I have contemplated that, indeed. After all, certain events and some motivations seem to differ or my older self.

[Loki smiles at that.]

He makes wonderful tea of oolong! Even though it lacks the cold sweetness of shaken milk, it is a remarkable drink.

Alright. Yea, then you may not be from the same universe, but similar ones. I know certain people have had similar occurrences here. Existing in one reality, and another.

And you like oolong tea and milkshakes? You know there's a tea shop and a restaurant where you can get that stuff, right?

It would help if he was willing to answer questions but even that seems to be quite an ordeal. But what you just said seems rather accurate. It must be your Jedi-wisdom, yes?

Of course I know of such a thing! I might be a child but not a fool. And sometimes I prefer to have a conversation with my older self.

It might just be the voice of experience, Loki. I've seen enough cases where universes differ. Billy Kaplan and Tony Stark, for instance.

Sorry, I'm not sure what newcomers know and don't. Your older self is an interesting character, to say the least.

[Loki stays silent for a while and nods afterwards, when he's done thinking and drawing his conclusions. Experience is obviously the thing he lacks. And some distinct knowledge about some matters.

He makes a mental note to close this rather unfortunate gap as soon as possible.]

Billy? Ah, do explain.

Interesting is a perfect way to describe my older self. Personally, I would have preferred 'sad' or 'dwelling on the past', but interesting is very fitting.

Oh, I know that there is Tony Stark in Billy's world, but no Billy in Tony's world. Thats all

[Luke shrugs]

I was trying to be polite.

[Loki nods slowly. He fully understands now. After all, in his world Thor is gone, in Steve Rogers' world Thor is still alive.]

Now you are implying you are not fond of my older self, Luke Skywalker.

I've said nothing of the sort. Your older self is interesting, but something about him gives me pause. He's in a lot of pain, and I'm trying to help him where I can. But I can't say that I trust him completely

[That thing about trust sounds familiar but Loki decides not to mention it. Trust is a complicated thing to a god of lies.]

My apologies then, I must have been drawing a very wrong conclusion. I do hope I am still allowed to hold your light saber, yes?

[A lot of pain...?]

[Luke nods]

Yes, pain. Something in his past hurt him, a great deal. It scarred his mind.

Excellent, Luke. I look so very forward to this.

[Loki listens.]

I know what that is. And I shall tell you my most honest opinion about this, yes? Yes.

It is very secret. And the concequences shall be grand if you tell this to him. As a Jedi knight you cannot tell secrets to anyone. So this will be our secret.

[He is not sure if keeping secrets is part of the Jedi code, so he hopes his guess is right.]

My older self should stop dwelling on things that happened in the past. It is aggravating.
