6th Transmission, Stopping to smell the Kibo...[Video/Action]

[Luke Skywalker has had an eventful few weeks, what with Anakin arriving, and breaking the news to his father about his rather dark future, not to mention the New Feather cycle. He'd patrolled the woods for newcomers, and spent many afternoons introducing himself to and attempting to help New Feathers get adjusted to life in Luceti. Not to mention the recent the blank...day from the last weekend.

That was beginning to be a common theme, blank days in his memory, and it was starting to be more than mildly disconcerting. Luke was genuinely starting to get angry at having his mind wiped by the Malnosso. To alleviate some of this, Luke decided that today would probably be an excellent day for exercise, and perhaps finding someone to train with. He'd talked to some people in the past about working on Jedi philosophy, martial training, and even meditative practice but due to the New Feather cycle, Anakin, and the confusion regarding the attack on the Battle Dome things had just not worked out.

He sends out a message to the village in Video form during the morning, before stepping outside to begin his own practice]

Good morning Luceti. I trust this morning finds you all well. I have a bit of a request. I would like to find someone to help me train today. Its been a while since I've had anyone to spar with, and equally as long since I've had an exercise partner. If anyone is interested, please contact me. I will be around Community House Five, so if you'd prefer, please stop by.

Moreover, if anyone is interested, I feel like today is a fine day for a hike and would love company.

[After his morning, he heads about his business in the village, stopping by the shops to pick up a few odds and ends like nutrient bars, a travelling pack, and some canteens.

Following this, he begins to make preparations for a rather lengthy hike, planning on heading out into the woods and just walking until he feels like its time to turn around. Why? Because he knows that he needs to relax and take time to smell the Kibo. Even if there aren't any Kibo flowers here. All the little things are starting to build up, and he can ill afford a tantrum of his own, having just prevented Anakin's explosion the previous week.

Its a fine spring day, and he does hope that someone will join him on his walk]

No, you're a beautiful and kind person. But Ben is about as stuffy as they come.

He's not always stuffy. He has moments when he is unstuffed. Ish. It's usually when I expect him to be stuffy and would rather he remain stuffy.

What...inspired that insane chase last night anyway?

Someone has to be. [She manages a soft chuckle.]

That..you would not believe me if I said I was just bored, would you?

I would, you get bored easily. Though why in particular last night?

Sabriel put her father to rest, in a way, and Ginia is in pain. I could not sleep. I needed to take my mind off of it somehow.

Fair enough. I encountered Sabriel while she was building a grave yesterday, but I hadn't heard that Ginia was in trouble. What happened?

Drusilla. [An antiquated, wretched name for an antiquated, wretched creature.] A vampire.

She cut up Ginia's leg quite well. I've tried searching the woods at night to find her- but Buffy insists that it's Slayer's work. Normally I would let her handle this as it is her area of expertise- but one of my own was hurt. I'll not stand idly by and let this go unpunished.

Oh, Ms. Summers did mention her, as did Sabriel.

I must admit that I have been searching for her myself, since the incident on the journals with the mutilated deer. I had planned on neutralizing the threat. Ms. Summers gave me more information, but didn't say she'd stop me.

She painted a message on the outside of our house in her own blood. She tried to get Sabriel to invite her into the house, and she's hurt Ginia. If I find her? I'm destroying her. [Anger unfitting of a Jedi, and she winds it in; but she can't help but be angry. Feel violated on her friend's behalf.]

What does she look like? I'd rather know so that I can end that threat when I find it.

and make no mistake. I *will* find it.

I do not know, as I did not see. Sabriel was informative enough as to her description. [She taps he nails against the edge of the fountain, sighing.] She's not quite all there.

She did point out Drusilla's name in the journals, so that is something. I think this creature will come to regret her aggressive tendencies.

Call me if you do manage to disarm her before I find her. I owe her a cut or fifteen.

From what I'm told, they don't have weapons, but use their own speed and strength.

Then cut her hands from her wrists and her feet from her legs. [Low, vehement. Cold. It startles her, the depth of this anger. She focuses on the sound of the fountain, the programmed breeze. A shade of her home, but a shade was enough to calm her.]

Adele. You know that is crossing a line. Cruelty is not our way.

It's not human. It's less than human. It's a parasite Luke, a danger to the village.

[He was right. She knows he's right. But that lingering illness in the blood on the house, the certainty with which Sabriel and Buffy spoke-

Not that killing it would do anything. Jedi do not Murder.]

Human or not, it is a sentient being, Adele. And such cruelty...its something a Sith would do, not a Jedi.

[He's sure she's heard this, knows it, but...the depth of her anger...]

...it's an acceptable target for my frustrations. And it should not be. My primary concern should be defending the village, not hunting that. Thing.

[She shouldn't be this angry. It didn't feel like this was wholly hers. She certainly didn't get so violent about her anger, not that she remembers.]

Adele. Direct your rage to more productive ends. Protect, do not destroy. Guard, do not hunt. Guide, do not order. Those are tenants of the New Jedi Order. Mine. Don't forget, though, that such maliciousness will rebound in the end.

[Anger, spite, malice. She's watched those not sensitive to the force be rot from the inside out by harboring them. Had watched suspension and paranoia devour Ani. She could blame this place. She could blame what happened before she arrived. She could blame her own inability to process the emotions of those around her without indulging in them herself. But this still needs to be sorted. And she can't lash out at Drusilla over it.]

I will leave the hunting to those that are better suited to it.

[Luke's voice is as hard as iron, and as soft as silk. He's not going to allow this creature's transgressions to go unpunished, Adele. You know that. If a peaceful solution is possible he'll find it, but if not, then Drusilla is in for a hell of a shock from this man]

[Adele shakes her head with a soft smile and looks up at Luke. He is every inch his father's son despite never knowing him. But like this, his measured determination? It reminds her of someone else entirely.]
