[Well it's about that time of year, when the weather begins to shift and it's beginning to get to the point where cultivating and preparing to for planting season is becoming a necessity. And to get all this started, Luke needs your help. He opens up the journal and smiles at the camera.]

Good afternoon Luceti,

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Luke Skywalker. For the last couple of years I've been tending to some of the farmlands outside the village, trying to build up emergency stores as well as bringing a bit of self-sufficiency to the enclosure. And as some of you may know, within the last year both Nami and Applejack have both departed, leaving the orchards near the farmland untended. I've been tending to them as best I can, but the vast majority of the help I had with the work has also returned home.

In the interest of better utilizing the space I'd like to request the help of anyone willing to volunteer their time with a bit of manual labor. I'm afraid it's simply not going to be possible to manage it all by myself, and any help would be greatly appreciated. It's beginning to near the planting season, after all. I'm happy to offer whatever services I can provide in exchange.

[There's a pause, and he seems to look somewhere off camera.]

On a related note, if there's anyone who knows anything about building irrigation systems, I'd appreciate any advice.

Loki, I know this is much less interesting than musical theater and cookies, but I was hoping I could get your help with a bit of magical work on the farm.

Law, I figure we should probably revisit some of those supply caches and check on them. Possibly restock and take care of a few other things down that vein.

[Luke's black and grey tunic and pants are pretty much the most bland thing ever, but the silver tube clipped to his waist is a bit of color at least! Smiling at the young man, he waves.]

Hello there, Farlan. I'm Luke.

[And he offers his gloved right hand for a shake.]

Great.

[Farlan takes his hand unhesitatingly for a shake. He doesn't have his weapons with him, because they're big and bulky and obvious. Probably not the best to bring along for farm work, but he's managed to obtain a couple knives, which are hidden on his person.]

So, what're we doing?

[Luke's grip is strong. Stronger than it should be, perhaps, but he doesn't let it linger. A good firm shake.]

Well, I've got to check on some things, and I thought I'd give you a tour. It's a bit of a hike, about 3 kilometers, so hopefully you don't mind.

[He notes the strong grip, but in the grand scheme of things here, an extra-strong handshake isn't too strange, so he doesn't comment on it.]

Not a problem.

[He's used to being active, and his training for the past few months has been particularly intense, so a 3 kilometer hike doesn't strike him as too difficult.]

The more I learn about this place, the better.

[It's all flat anyway, and there's a path. Less a hike, more a decent walk. Luke nods to the north and starts off.]

So tell me Farlan, how long have you been here? And how've you found the place so far?

[All the better. Farlan finds nothing to complain about.]

About a week. So, not long.

It hasn't been bad so far, but I don't trust it.

[It's arguably better than home, but most things are.]

What about you?

[Luke shrugs again]

I've been here a few months over two years. To be honest, it's a far cry from home, but it's getting to the point where I'm not sure I want to leave. Just so I can see this through to the end, when we do find a way home.

It's not much like my home either, but that's okay.

[When he goes back, he's just going to be in that awful situation again. He might die. He doesn't know. And at least Levi's here.

He nods. He can understand that.]

I'm not in any rush to get back. People can really stay here for years?

[Luke nods. He can understand this guy's feelings on the matter. Going home just means going back to a different war, dealing with the various Warlords that remain after Palpatine's second, and final, death. In some ways, this place is easier to stomach.]

They can. Ms. Sage, the woman who wrote the guide, has been here for six.

Six...? But most people don't stay here that long, right?

[He's tried to read up on the subject, as much as he can. Most people go back and do whatever they were going to do, from what he understands. They go back and die sometimes, maybe.]

Does anybody know why we come and go? Why don't they wanna keep us here, if they brought us here?

Well, no. To my knowledge? Raine, Albert Silverberg, and Sheena have been here the longest.

[And that's the hard question.]

And no, nobody does. What we do know is that the Malnosso don't bring us here. It's this world, not them. They're claiming to want to send us home, which...I only half believe. They're just as trapped as we are, after all.

I hope I can stay a while.

[He's not sure about that, since it doesn't seem like the norm.]

The world. So nobody controls it, it's a natural thing? Or something?

[He frowns, because it sure doesn't sound natural.]

I don't believe them, either.

[They're not exactly trustworthy, from what he can tell so far.]

Oh? Things that bad at home?

[Luke chuckles and keeps on walking.]

And as far as we know, yeah, it's a natural thing. Nobody knows for certain, but that's what we've gathered.

They're not great, that's for sure.

[Especially now that he's fairly certain he's about to die. It doesn't make home seem very warm and welcoming.]

So the longer I stay, the better.

That's--really weird. How could that even happen? How do they know that? There's too much about this place that doesn't make sense.
