[It hadn't been hard to notice that Commander Shepard had returned home. Artoo had rolled into his room, her pistol carried in his outstretched claw, whistling and beeping. Luke shook his head and went to check it out, unsurprised to find Alia's spartan room completely devoid of anything. It was pretty thorough, and Luke guessed that the gun had been meant as a keepsake.

Which led him to go knocking on the door of the basement lab to see if Mordin was around. He hadn't seen the Salarian in a while, either. Oddly, it was unlocked, an unusual occurrence all on it's own. He headed down into it, and found everything neat and tidy, save for the Salarian's personal effects. A few obviously trapped books, a scribbled note, and a box filled with Medigel with a note "For the Clinic" on it indicated that he too had returned home.

With Ami kidnapped, Valentine's fast approaching, and his housemates either gone or preparing to leave for a camping trip, Luke was feeling his equilibrium slipping. Flipping open his journal, he sent out a broadcast.]

I regret to inform you that Commander Alia Shepard and Professor Mordin Solus have both returned to their world. They were good people, and Mordin saved a lot of lives during the last draft. If it's something you do, have a drink for them. They'd appreciate it.

If you have an appointment with me, I'm sorry, I'll have to cancel for the time being. I'll be in Good Spirits this evening, and tomorrow morning I'm heading into the mountains for some time to myself.

And Shepard, Mordin?

[True to his word, Luke will be in Good Spirits for most of the evening, and he'll be around town packing up some supplies for some time in the mountains. Grab him anywhere around town.]

But as I understand it, Derek earned it, and Loki dealt with Garrosh without violence.

Derek Bliss? Is that why he was wounded? [Spock had met Derek at the Dome... he didn't know how he got that way though.]

May I inquire as to what transpired at that particular event? [Curious, as always.]

From what I understand, yes it is.

[Luke shrugs]

In that case, I can only hope that his efforts are not successful. [When Spock had been conversing with Saleh about this dangerous being... he had been quite concerned.]

Of course. Don't worry Spock, he's not going to be. I'll keep an eye on him.

But you said he was going to start a fight over the portal? Why? How?

[Spock looked sharply at his friend...]

Though I too only have second hand information... but from what I am aware, he plans to manipulate and threaten the residents of Luceti into following him.

My information is very limited.

Spock, I may be short, but I am a Jedi. The Force is my ally and I've spoken to him myself, before these incidents. I'm quite capable of dealing with him.

[And he's not particularly worried about it.]

I doubt he will be successful. There are too many strong willed people here.

I did not doubt your talents... however, accidents do happen.

Though I am inclined to believe you regarding his lack of success... There are many in Luceti who would be quite capable of overpowering him.

[Spock finished his glass of water and regards Luke.] You are certain you will be fine by yourself?

[Luke raised an eyebrow with an amused look]

Spock, I do not want to boast. But, I'm better equipped to deal with such a thing than most people here. I'll be fine. I've yet to find an enemy, even here, that I couldn't overcome.

[Spock gives Luke a small smile.]

Of course.. my apologies. [Spock doesn't have many friends... so he finds this feeling of wanting to protect rather strong.]
