Apparently he runs a criminal organization called Team Rocket? At least, that's what I was told. Does that name ring a bell?

[He adds quickly, wanting to give the stranger the benefit of the doubt.]

Honestly, I don't really have a good perspective on it, since I'm not from your world. But Lance and Professor Oak both weren't terribly complimentary of him. When I met him before, he seemed affable enough, and it was fairly plain he genuinely appreciated his pokemon, but the sense I'm getting is less that this might be a different version of him.

[ He lets Luke talk, though the words Team Rocket already had him taken in and everything clicking into place with it. Whatever that was about that man being genuine or not -- Red's face is less lost now, and more serious with the news of who his opponent is to be. ]

Team Rocket are bad. I don't know what they're like in other worlds-- but if they're anything like the ones I know, they're bad people.

[ And here was the leader of Team Rocket. Affinity for ground pokémon... well, he had two rock pokémon before. He becomes less focused on Luke on the other side as the memory of that man comes back to him. ]

He's evil... I've got to beat him. [ And that's that. That's what he's got to do. He puts a hand to the side of the book, and he rushes out his next words- ]

I've got to go. I'll see you, Luke.

[ He doesn't wait, the feed shutting. ]
