Good. That's always good. [He gives Remy a little look, a half smile forming. He heard those thoughts there, bud.]

Are there a lot of people from your world here? Not...other versions of it, but yours specifically? Deadpool and Steve explained a few things to me about it.

[She nods again. Another question she knows the answer to! Score!]

Mm! Yes. Remy is. ... So is... Kurt. [Her eyes dart away on that name. Noope, not gonna talk about him, noope.] ... Jean Grey. [That name she spits out, as if it tastes foul in her mouth.]

... None of us are from-- exactly the same time, I don't think. We're within a year or so of one another. But-- it was an eventful year.

Rogue too. Also Storm and Wolverine when they were here, Kitty too.

[Back to shuffling through his cards.]

I met Wolverine once or twice, and Kitty.

[A Kitty, anyway. Also noooot pressing about Kurt or Jean.]

I can relate to that, myself. My sister, her husband, and both of my parents have all arrived from different points. Scattered over...nearly fifty years of time.

My parents are both younger than their kids. How's that for strange?

... my two children are here. They're both older than me. [Wanda deadpans. She is very familiar with this particular set of weirdness.] ... So yes. It's very weird.

[And terrifying. Seriously terrifying. Remy had no plans to reproduce, so thank whatever god from whatever universe he was not going through that.]

Billy, right? [Luke had heard mention.] He's a good boy.

Mmhm. [She shoots a sharp glare at Remy. She is NOT crazy, thank you VERY much.] He is. And he's been very-- understanding and kind with me.

[One day Remy will learn not to use that word around Wanda, she takes it far too personally even when not remotely related to her.

But she is crazy.

The balancing on the back two legs of the chair was fine, but would be far more interesting balanced only on one! A slight shift of his weight did so. Hopefully it won't break, or he would have to get Luke new ones.]

Well, I think he's like that with everyone. [Luke smiles.] He was pretty helpful when I had some issues a couple of summers ago with possession.

... possession? [Wanda wonders if he means something he owned, or being taken over by ghosts.]

It's...a bit of a long story, but actually Remy saw it somewhat recently.

[He taps his head.]

A few years back, at home? I had a bit of an accident with an artifact that led to my psyche sort of...taking in some guests. The Malnosso brought them out through shifts.

[Wanda shifts uncomfortably. Something about Luke's story resonates in her, and she doesn't like that it does. ] ... The shifts can be cruel. I'm-- sorry you had to go through something like that.

[That actually draws a huff of laughter from Luke.] It's alright. Having a chance to meet Grandmaster Sunrider was actually something of an honor.

Oh? I don't think I've met-- him? [Or maybe a her? No, he said "master," and that's usually a guy. ] ... It is nice, all the people I get to meet here. People are so-- friendly. Accepting.

Her. [Luke smiles faintly.] She doesn't live in the village, she's one of the personas stuck in my head.

[He holds up a hand, palm up.]

I could show you, if you'd like. She's easy enough to create a projection of.

[cajunspice]

Lovely femme, [Remy injected, not really helpful at all.] Very lovely. [Shame he had been stuck in a female form of himself at the time. And, you know, she was really Luke.]

Oooh! [A "her" after all! A lady 'grandmaster'. That was pretty awesome. Like Mystique!

But then-- stuck in his head. Wanda is a bit-- skittish about psychics. ]

[Luke closed his eyes, and willed a small figure into being. A woman's frame with slender shoulders and a sea-green tunic, holding a blade of light. The image shimmers slightly as Luke is calling up some illusory powers of the Force that he's never quite mastered within the barrier, but it's there.]

Nomi Sunrider, one of the Jedi Order's wisest leaders. She's from nearly four thousand years before my time.

[The figure salutes Wanda before just taking a seat.]

She's-- very lovely. [And kind of small. But she assumes that's because of how her image is being generate, and less an accurate representation of her size.] And she's... a grandmaster? Your-- boss?

[Much less accurate, but a full sized projection might freak Wanda out.]

Well, in my time, I'm the current Grandmaster so I don't actually have a boss. But in her time, there were many, many thousands more Jedi, and her teachings are still a part of the Order today, so I've tried to learn what I can from her.

Maybe we should have 'nother Star Wars night, educate the girl. [Plus, you know, past!Remy got to do it, not him.]

Action - 9/25

[Not long after dawn Anakin felt the familiar approach of his son. He had been up for hours already. On pretense of checking the droids at the direct opposite end of the farm, Anakin left his seat at his workbench before Luke arrived.

It was easier this way, he told himself that lie in hopes that someday he would eventually believe it. But no, it wasn't easier, Anakin wanted to know his son and be a part of his life, so pushing him away now was a special kind of torture. But he couldn't logic his way around what he felt he needed to do.

And besides, those droids on the far end of the farm really needed to be checked on.]

[Luke felt it too, and he just wasn't having any more of it. Crossing the farm wasn't difficult. With the Force quickening his steps, he arrived shortly after his father and called out.]

Anakin. We should talk about something.

[It did not escape Anakin's notice how deliberately and quickly Luke caught up to him. And he would be lying if it didn't prick some irritation, avoiding someone shouldn't be more difficult than it already was.

Though, he couldn't entirely blame Luke.

He quashed his feelings and turned to address Luke.]

"I don't have time right now."

[Which was, admittedly, the weakest excuse he could come up with. Because he filled his days doing odd jobs on a farm that was already well maintained.]
