The soil should be soft enough for carrots and potatoes by now. I've been waiting to try that. Corn, tomatoes, and turnips I've had going for a while now. And lettuce I've opted to forgo in the past. It doesn't keep as well. But, I'll certainly see about this year, for more immediate use.
