21st Transmission [Video/Written/Action] (Forward Dated to March 17)

[Well it's about that time of year, when the weather begins to shift and it's beginning to get to the point where cultivating and preparing to for planting season is becoming a necessity. And to get all this started, Luke needs your help. He opens up the journal and smiles at the camera.]

Good afternoon Luceti,

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Luke Skywalker. For the last couple of years I've been tending to some of the farmlands outside the village, trying to build up emergency stores as well as bringing a bit of self-sufficiency to the enclosure. And as some of you may know, within the last year both Nami and Applejack have both departed, leaving the orchards near the farmland untended. I've been tending to them as best I can, but the vast majority of the help I had with the work has also returned home.

In the interest of better utilizing the space I'd like to request the help of anyone willing to volunteer their time with a bit of manual labor. I'm afraid it's simply not going to be possible to manage it all by myself, and any help would be greatly appreciated. It's beginning to near the planting season, after all. I'm happy to offer whatever services I can provide in exchange.

[There's a pause, and he seems to look somewhere off camera.]

On a related note, if there's anyone who knows anything about building irrigation systems, I'd appreciate any advice.

[Shutting off the feed, he sends out two private messages.]

Loki, I know this is much less interesting than musical theater and cookies, but I was hoping I could get your help with a bit of magical work on the farm.

Law, I figure we should probably revisit some of those supply caches and check on them. Possibly restock and take care of a few other things down that vein.

[Oh no question about that one, he'd be starting trouble in everyone's neighborhood.]

Right, well, just slide it into the slot when I get the water out of the way.

[He trusts Toph's measurements, of course, so it should fit just fine.

Shutting his eyes, Luke begins to concentrate on the water, pushing his hands sideways like he's parting a curtain. And low and behold, a barrier seems to form, holding back the water and clearing out the trough.]

Hmmm... I guess so. [Is he just going to have to try and not think so hard about things?]

...You really have younger versions of your parents here? What's that like?

[whiskytraitorfirefight]

[Sound enough. Even the appearance of preference can grow resentment, and with resentment comes other problems, things no one needs when things are stressful enough.]

Since I'm already collecting honey and other non-perishable food for the clinic, I can bring some here too?

Well, it's a little odd. But it's nice. [He shrugs.] I never knew my parents growing up, so it's an experience, at least.

[Luke looks to Law, deferring on this cache to it's keeper.]

[Easy enough to do with all the time she spends down by the Battle Dome.]

Anything else to discuss here or should we move on to the next spot?

I've seen all I need to.

[Luke shrugs, waiting on the pirate.]

I think we're good to go, yes.

[After you folks. He'll lock up once you're out.]

[Ginia steps out of the room and to the side, taking a moment to type up some notes in her phone.]

[And Luke isn't long after, waiting on Law.]

Yeah? [That could mean two things, but... let's be careful.] Do you hang out with them? You could really get to know them a bunch!

I do. We all live together, so it's definitely a good chance. I wouldn't trade it for the entire galaxy.

[pokeboy]

[That sounds rather big. But nice, too.]

I don't know what I would do with my parents here... what do you do other than the farm land work? Can your parents do the Force stuff with you?

Well, I work in the clinic with my girlfriend. And I try and keep prepared for whatever might happen.

And, my father is a Jedi Knight, yes. My mother, though, she's not. She's a Senator in the Galactic Senate. So, she's very interested in politics, diplomacy, and that sort of thing.

[pokeboy]

[Oh! That's diverse. But...]

Umm... so a Senator is like a mayor? Or a leader? ....I don't really know a lot about politics.

[thefinaljedi]

Something like that. She's part of a council of thousands that takes care of laws and rules for the entire galaxy.

[pokeboy]

Sounds...busy. [or boring]

Being Jedi Knights sound exciting! We've got people called the police in my world, but we don't have any knights.

Oh, I know. But just because there's not reason not to doesn't mean people actually will.

[reviling]

Coming from a place where starvation is everywhere and here you can eat as much as you want? Easier than you might think.

[Levi shifts, frowning at that.]

Do you think it will happen soon?

[cajunspice]

[Call it a little bad on his side, but Remy took a moment to watch Luke at work, how the waters were held at bay and the level of concentration it clearly took. No doubt none of it helping Luke in the least. Taking hold of the slot, he did as directed, sliding it through into its desired position.]

We have those too, the Jedi are a little different.

[And, they've definitely made it to the farm by now. It's a few fields, a lot of trees in the orchards, and some small buildings, the largest of which Luke is heading for.]

Well, in this case, it's for everyone's benefit.

[And by now they've probably made it up to the farm too. Not that Toph can see much, but there's definitely a farm-y smell.]

I don't know, honestly. The last one was over a year ago, now. TERRACE. It's too quiet, honestly. The Third Party is rarely so.
