Varied. I move around a lot, and the planet ranges from arctic areas to desert. Lot of water. Some desert. Mountains and forests.

Same thing with the people; tribal all the way to what we consider 'modern'. No where near being ready for space travel, though. Can barely make it to our own moon and back.
