Groaning, Luke Skywalker rolled over in the warm sun of an early morning. Sitting up, he squeezed the bridge of his nose, blinking all around him. He was out by the lake, and he was still in Luceti. All he could remember was being woken from sleep by a loud banging at his window, and then blackness. Something felt off, that was sure, but he wasn't sure what. Shakily, he got to his feet and dazedly made his way over to the lake.

As he...looked into the lake, her jaw dropped, eyes widening. A female face stared back with the same shocked look, clad in New Feather garb. A familiar face, that of Grandmaster Sunrider, greeted him. To his further surprise the reflection began to speak, echoing through his mind. When it finished, things were a lot clearer. And so was her mind. Turning away from the water, Nomi Sunrider stared at the journal on the ground in front of her. Deep in the back of their mind, Luke Skywalker nodded in agreement. There wasn't much else to be done, if Luke was to be in control it would tax both of them. He knew she'd slipped him into a trance to spare him the pain of experimentation, and now she was willing to take his responsibilities until whatever the Malnosso had done could be undone.

Taking the journal, Nomi opened it up and Luke sent out a message in a distinctly...female voice. They agreed that not everyone needed to know what was going on...at least right away.

[Voice]
"Greetings residents of Luceti. This is Luke Skywalker, and...I'm having a bit of a situation. I was taken by the Malnosso, and I'm feeling a little weak. I am out by the lake, and if anyone could bring a spare suit of clothing, some water, and some pain killers I would be in your debt."

Later that afternoon, and all week, Luke/Nomi can be found around the village. Its pretty weird, even for a Jedi, so...expect lots of confusion and mostly to be speaking to Nomi. Feel free to poke at them throughout the week, just denote a day.

Cheer up, and lets go get some chocolate for you and the little fellow, alright?

[Despite the translucency of Luke's projected form his hand is firm and solid on her shoulder...and for a moment she's struck by nostalgia. All those nights of her father meeting her in spirit form to talk with her every month; it leaves a bittersweet smile on her lips as she looks up at her friend.]

I am well enough, thank you Luke.

And what about you, Ms. Sunrider? Are you well?

I am. I find this entire situation rather strange, but I don't really have much choice in it, thanks to our hosts.

[She offers a comforting smile]

I know it must be a little jarring for you, seeing us like this. I think it should be temporary though.

There's probably a lot that could benefit from you being here, yeah. I mean, more Jedi Knights are always good, right?

[Even though technically it's still the same number...]

Usually, I'd like to think so. But the same could be said of teenage super-heroes.

Oh man, you know about that too?

[Well, it makes sense- she'd know everything that Luke knows, right? More or less. He laughs a bit nervously.]

I just wish I could help more. I'm used to being a lot more effective than I am around here.

I do. Luke and I share memories. And its alright. I think you do the best you can do. I noticed you were drafted recently. How did that go?

I knew the Malnosso could do some unbelievable things but I never thought they could do something like this.

[Sabriel shakes her head with a soft sigh.]

Do you still experience those unconscious applications of the Force?

I do not. Both Luke and I are in full and total control. The initial trouble may have been brought on by the unbalancing factor of sharing a body. The human mind is not meant to hold two.

[He winces. Not the best experience in Luceti he's had so far.]

Ah... yeah, it was okay. I mean, I wouldn't say it was good, but... it's a war, right? It's not supposed to be good.

War can be a chance to grow as a person. You just need to exercise caution when involved, lest you give in too much.

[ Just still looking oh so sheepish. ] I-I suppose I'm...glad to have done so then. [ He isn't the most entertaining person though...

Helios brightens considerably at the offer and suggestion. Luminair is in agreement too as the little dragon jumps down from his placement on the fountain wall. A small frown and then a smile from Helios as he contemplates. ] Ah, well, I can't really refuse an offer like that. M-My weakness and all. I should keep more under wraps in the future.

[ Though it's really very apparent to be honest. Oh well. There are worse things aren't there? ]

Then, where would you recommend? The bakery?

[She laughs and offers an arm, indicating that he should take it. Like a gentleman.]

Aren't there better ways to grow, though? It just seems like a really huge price to pay versus... I don't know, getting a job or fighting crime.

[Or getting a job fighting crime.]

It doesn't affect as many people at once.

If that's the case, then aren't you both still in that danger?

War sometimes is necessary though. Strife, unfortunately, will exist as long as two people desire something the other one has. The price is large, but if there is no way to avoid it...then find what good you can in it.

We are, though now that our powers have returned we are able to balance out a bit better. We can use the Force to suppress one another, and keep each other out.

[Nomi nods in assent]

Oh! Um, yes, th-the bakery has rather delicious pies and cookies, and anything else you'd probably want. I-I'm not sure what you'd prefer though. What, um, what sort of sweets did you have b-back in your world?

[ Helios pauses looking unsure and overall uncomfortable at the offered arm. He is so not used to this contact thing Nomi. ]

That's way easier said than done.

[She shrugs and starts walking]

Sweets? Oh, similar things I suppose. Breads, cookies, sweet puddings and things are my favorites.

Yes. Yes it is. I can only imagine what you've been through, as a heroic figure being so young.

Huh... I guess.

[...Ahaha... awkward. And not something to be discussed on a public forum, so he'll derail a bit.]

So you really do know everything he knows? That must be so strange.

I do. And yes, it is. Seeing the Galaxy from MY perspective and then seeing what its become through him? That is...quite jarring.
