[Luke's eyes lift]

How have you been sleeping?

Better than I had been last week. Even with Cayla and Saori in the house it was so very...quiet.

[She shakes her head faintly at her own discomfort and looks back over to Luke. The orb Helios had offered gave her some peace when she tried to sleep, as did the meditative exercises Luke taught her.]

The first day back here I slept through the night.

Good. At least that's a start. If you feel like it, I can offer putting you into the dreamless state while you sleep.

[Luke shakes his head]

If it helped, that might be wise.

It's not something I wish to rely on every time I'm unable to rest on my own. I need to learn how to cope with what I'm seeing. Being here has helped a great deal.

[She reaches up to rest her hand on Ben's, something that was idle and habitual at this point.]

[It feels like an evening designed just for her already, with all the little touches from the gift to the music - a perfect selection.]

I'm talking too seriously again. [She's starting to get better about that. Well, better at recognizing when she's doing it again.]

[Obi-Wan takes the hand when it meets his.]

"Perhaps it might be helpful if we got into the habit of undergoing a meditative ritual before you went to sleep in the evenings."

Its alright, but you should let yourself relax some. Nothing bad's going to happen.

[He smiles and shakes his head, laughing]

If you don't let yourself have some fun, you'll get wrinkles

That too could help. Also, there are a number of teas that may help clear your mind in the evening before you sleep.

[Luke's head bobs in acknowledgement]

Also, sleeping with a low, steady sound like a fan may help.

[There's actually a fraction of a second where Ami starts to reach for her face, before she sheepishly puts her hand back down.]

You shouldn't tease a young lady that way. She'll start to worry for certain then!

[Luke can't do anything but laugh and hold out a hand for Ami]

[Ami gives Luke her hand as she shakes her head and lets out a sound that can only be described as a giggle.]

I needed to laugh like that.

[Lacing her fingers with Ben's was equally habitual, it was an anchor, one she sorely needed once the room went cold and her shoulders went tight. Adele squeezes her eyes shut and breathes through this one. First one today, and after almost two without. A record.

Of course that just made this one all the worse.

It lasts longer, than the last she'd had. Darker. Bloodier. She attempts to not be bothered by it. Truly. Having Luke and Ben in the room makes that something she can manage. Once it passes as they all do she blinks herself back to the present.]

Meditation, tea, and a fan would help a great deal. Thank you Luke.

[Luke pulls her up, using her exceptionally light weight thanks to the shift to bring Ami into a tight hug]

Me too. Its been one of those months.

[When the vision hits, Obi-Wan moves his arms around her almost automatically, simply holding her until the pain fades. The chaos of her emotions is overwhelming even to be this close to, so the best he can do is just wait out the surge of pain until it ends.

When it does, he pulls away, though he doesn't move out of arm's reach.]

"... If the visions get any worse, you will let us know?"

[Luke senses it immediately too, rising quickly and on high alert. He'd gotten a vague sensation of what occurred there, and it was not pleasant at all. Violence and blood.]

Yes, please. That isn't something you should have to live with, or deal with alone.

[A hand to hold was more than enough. Luke's presence, easily felt, and Ben's support have her step back from what she's been shown. Attempt to be cavalier about it.]

It's no worse than the usual. This one has been popular as of late. Mustafar and a terrible fall. Though having you involved as well confused it a bit Luke.

[She pinches the bridge of her nose and lifts a shoulder.]

Normally you're bleeding out in a bacta tank. It didn't know what to do with you there.

"... Adele, it is worth noting that bleeding out in a bacta tank is impossible, unless you have some other condition preventing the healing from being effective. And I am not prone to terrible falls, barring unpredictable control of the Force. And... neither of these are your fault."

And there is nothing in the known Galaxy that can interfere with bacta. It simply does. I believe you'd be hard pressed to have me bleed out in a bacta tank, particularly when I can heal my body within hours without Bacta.

These visions are ludicrous.

Their intent is to unsettle and shock me, not to make sense. I doubt Apep understood the particulars of bacta or the capabilities of Jedi.

[Adele shrugs and manages a half smile.]

Now that I'm more accustomed to them it's easier to understand how truly flawed they are.

[Ami lets herself be held for a moment, enjoying the feeling of simple closeness; after just a fraction of a second, she returns the gesture.]

I think it will be alright now.

[Its nice, being this close to someone. A feeling Luke's missed, and is glad to have.]

I know it will be. [Leaving it unstated that its because of her presence]

"I... do not mean to place an additional burden upon him, as I understand he is experiencing emotional difficulties of his own..."

[Obi-Wan pauses, as if uncomfortable saying what comes next.]

"But is it possible that Helios might be able to provide some means of ending these visions? Knowing, uniquely, how Apep caused them?"

[Luke looks from Adele to Obi-Wan, hes eyebrow raised at the statement. Helios had seemed completely oblivious to even the possiblity that Apep could even manifest, let alone possess him.]

Is that wise, Obi-Wan? I've spoken to Helios at length on the matter, and he doesn't seem to know anything. I don't know what could be gained from questioning the poor man, but if you think you could glean something then that may be a wise course of action.

[Especially now, knowing what Adele is suffering]

[He pauses a moment, after she says that, but finally nods, conceding the issue.]
